The objective of this website is primarily to convey information on Data-Mining Technologies to business and technology managers. Hence, the website is designed to look professional, with an emphasis to provide information logically, with intuitive navigation, and quick access to all information. Technical terminologies are hyperlinked to the glossary for quick access to concise definitions. No fancy graphics, sound effects or other multi-media files were implemented in the website in consideration of the download times for each page.
Usability Testing has been performed by my friends. Many thanks for their input and suggestions to the design and testing of the web site.

mining tools, university research articles and journals to personal homepages and newsletters. Websites have also been
deliberately selected from numerous countries, such as Australia, Canada,
United States, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.

Terminologies have been hyper-linked to the "anchored" word in the glossary for quick and easy reference.
Websites have been selected based on the most reliable and relevant sources. Each
website has been reviewed and described.
Search engines used in scouring the websites include: Alta Vista, Lycos,
Yahoo, Look Smart and Google.
Each web page has been optimised for loading speed. No useless graphics to
slow down the loading of WebPages. Load times have been timed for each page to
less than 23 seconds per page over a 56k modem connection.
